"Blog Action Day is an annual nonprofit event that aims to unite the world's bloggers, podcasters and videocasters, to post about the same issue on the same day. Our aim is to raise awareness and trigger a global discussion."

You know, sk0t.com isn't known for its amazing posts... or even all that interesting of posts... I don't really care about people, and I don't care whether other people care about me... however, having lived the life I have lived, I have ran into many people who have had far less than I. I met some people in prison, who would wear the same stuff day-in and day-out, because their family didn't have the money to send them anything. On the inside, it wasnt a big deal, because they could survive in the little of means, however on the outside it is a different story. There are families taking their kids to hospitals because they can't afford to provide for them anymore... it is ridiculous... lets hope that whoever our new president is, he can lead us in a direction where poverty isn't so rampant.
