PRISON UPDATE!!!
Hello All,

It has officially past my first 4 weeks in prison, and I can honestly say that it has been the worst 4 weeks of my life. There hasn't been 1 day that I do not wish that I was at home, spending time with my family and just doing the normal things I would do (but that is what prison is all about). It is hard to think that I have 4 times as much time as I have already done left... now some of you might think that 5 months is a walk in the park... a vacation, per sae, well it is not... 5 months is a long time for someone who hasn't had any run ins with the law, or any type of significant issues reguarding his life... and now I wait... 119 long days left to go before I can return home and see my family and friends... some of you won't get calls from me, and some of you will... some of you have reaffirmed my faith in friendship, and most of you have confirmed my suspicions all along... friendship isn't a hard game to play, you just have to have the desire...

I dont have a lot of time to sit on this at one time (nor do I feel like it)... but I want you all to know this one thing... it doesnt matter what hardships stress a man, or how much he has to endure, what matters is how he handles himself in times of struggle and strife... that is what defines a man.... not what he did, but what he does...

Some of you (who read this in emails and/or on my blog) will know what I mean when I tell you that friendship isnt conditional... or atleast it shouldn't be... and sometimes people need to lose a friend to know what it was... it is weird for me to think that while I am struggling in prison, I have made some prison acquaintances that have far outweighed some of my friends at home... oh well, now I will quote TNT during Basketball season: Let The Truth Be Told

Out.

PRISON UPDATE!!!
Well Everyone,

Today I started my new job within the wonderful Bureau of Prisons (BoP). It is in the Safety Department... now, some of you might think that it sounds glamorous, but it is not. I, today, ripped the labels off of industrial sizes cans, and put the cans in barrells.... now that is exciting... we got out at 11 for lunch, and we were told not to return because of something or other... so we got the rest of the day off...

As of today, I have 4 months, 1 week, and 3 days left.... (if I am wrong on that calculation, forgive me, but I am not too far off)...

Time isnt going extremely fast, but overall, I have to say that it isnt going tremendously slow either...

The prison I am at is not a camp... it is an Federal Correctional Institute that is missing a fence... there are prisons that have a lower grade classification than this one... so why I got sent here is beyond me.

95% of the offenders here are drug related... whether they are dealers who got a deal... or just druggies who got caught... this is the drug prison... supposedly the best Drug Program (called RDAP) in the country... amongst the lower classified prisons...

But I am doing well everyone... and I look forward to your emails...

IF YOU WANT TO GIVE ME YOUR EMAIL, Send a message to: sk0tcom@gmail.com with your email and address, and I will get it from my girlfriend.
