Best Week Ever [VH1.com] I thought I would be creative (although still thinking inside the box of pop culture) and come up with a catchy Title for this post... although dreary and depressing as it may seem.

I have 1 week *hence the title* before I have to report to Morgantown, West Virginia, to spend the next 5 months in prison.

***Topic change: Perceptions of Reality

It is common knowledge to all that situations and experiences dictate a persons view on the world. I have, because of my situation, become more cynical over the past year or so... now is this due to immediate circumstances... I don't think so... the world around me isn't filled with pixie sticks and lolli-pops... it is surrounded by liars, cheaters, and crooks... the backbone of our society lies in the principle of who can strike who first and with the fiercest malcontent... I do not believe for one second that people are good natured... myself included... saying that I am any less than the rest of the world makes me smug in my indifference.
