New purchases...
At the end of July, Jeni [my girlfriend] and I switched Cell phone providers (thanks to y0himba]. We went from Cellular One, to Verizon... so we got the LG VX8300 phone. Now it has been a good phone for the couple weeks we have had it. When we got it, we got a 256MB Micro-SD card for it. The program that we use to transfer songs and images and other stuff over (BitPim) takes forever to transfer full songs onto the card. So I purchased a card reader. I got the Adaptec Multi-Card Media Reader 7500A. It is versatile in that I can have it as a separate USB entity, or I can put it in my 3.5" bay and have it be a permanent fixture. (I use the removable USB option). Anyways... it makes transferring stuff to the card so fast [USB 2.0 has a raw data rate at 480Mbps*]. So I believe that I am all set right now. Everything is working, and the songs on the phone sound fantastic.
