The key to success.
Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.
~Jim Rohn
After reading the quote above... what does it mean to you?
Do you just go with the flow of everyday life and do just what is needed, or do you try your hardest and learn as much as you can in order to do the best job you possibly can do ?
There are many ways to read Rohn's quote above, and interpret what it means. What does it mean for you ?

Developer Position
I wanted to give everyone an update as to what has been going on lately.
First things first... Jeni and I are having a baby!!! In October, we *she* will give birth to a baby BOY! (Booyah!).
Second, I got a developer position at a local company here in Erie. I did not think that developing was exactly what I wanted to do; however, I am enjoying it way more than I thought. It is a great place to work, and while I have only been here a little over a month, I am learning a whole lot.
Things are good.

**UPDATE**
I guess my past indiscretions were unable to be overlooked for this local company that offered me a position.
This was about 3 weeks ago, they rescinded their offer, leaving me in the same position I am in right now.
Come May, I am not sure what I am going to be doing.
If anyone knows of a place or position that I would be a good fit for, please let me know.
In May I will have an MBA from Penn State, I already have a Bachelors of Science in Management Information Systems, and I can do just about anything.
Any help is good help!

Installing a new TB (Terabyte) Hard Drive...
I bought a new Western Digital TB hard drive for the purposes of increasing my available file space.
So, I go to install it into my main desktop...
(I was going to install it into my SERVER; however, I do not have any more SATA connections available because they are used by the other 5 hard drives that I have installed)
... and due to the power supply that I have, there are no more SATA power connections left... [ANGER LEVEL: 3 out of 10].
I run to Radio Shack and get solicited immediately by the guy who works there... I tell him I need a Molex-to-SATA power adapter... He looks at me like I am retarded and tells me that he has never heard of that before... and says: "What is MOLEX, I do not know that term?", he walks me to the area where he thinks it should be, and I see nothing of what I am looking for...
Another guy hears what I said: MOLEX, and says: "It may be over here." So I walk over to that guy, and there it is... hanging on the shelf next to the same items I saw on the other shelf (not very organized in terms of inventory placement). I buy it for $2.99, and ride on out.
I drive home and I am ready to install the new hard drive into my desktop. I disassemble my desktop and notice that I need to rearrange the other 2 hard drives currently in the machine in order to make the new one fit.
It turns out that I had to drill new holes in the hard drive carrier to make them all fit, cause I put a hard drive in the floppy drive area, and the holes did not line up. [ANGER LEVEL: 6 out of 10]
Now everything is installed... I re-attach the PC sidewall, and plug everything back in... and boot it up, and: "NO BOOTABLE DEVICE IS ATTACHED - strike any key to continue"... [ANGER LEVEL: 8 out of 10]
So I disassemble everything yet again... only to find that I forgot to plug the power adapter into the OS Hard drive... [ANGER LEVEL: 9 out of 10 - based on my own stupidity]
It works now.
